Grandpa Joe, Uncle Joey, and Uncle Gabriel

Mom, Dad, and baby slept well last night and everyone is feeling good this morning. Susanna has started to nurse, but it is a lil touch and go right now. Mom and baby are learning to work together during the process.

Jess has gotten up today and walked around a little bit, but she is taking it easy and trying not to overdue it. I am amazed how well she is doing and how strong she has been during all of this. Baby Susanna is sleeping next to me right now and seems to love laying in my lap. I've been doing well and just trying to keep Mom and baby happy, as well as keep this small room tidy.

Here are a couple of pictures from yesterday with Grandpa Joe, Uncle Joey, Uncle Gabriel, and of course.....my lady.

She's BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Such a perfect little face. Jess- I told you, C-section is the way to go! ;) I'm happy you all are doing well. Can't wait to see you in person, but I'll let you get your rest first. Maybe by the time Linda gets back you'll be up for visitors. (She says to save a few "sniffs" for her!) Congratulations and God bless.

Pictures can't even do baby Susanna justice. I have decided that Susanna and Ava will be the knock outs wherever they go! She is an absolute doll and I can not believe they came five days apart. What a perfect ending to such an emotional roller coaster of the past ten months! I love you three and I am so proud of you! Congratulations! Vicki, Richard, Claudia and Ava
