FINALLY!

It's official... baby has flipped over and she is head down. This is GREAT NEWS!!! I had my 36 week appointment this morning and they confirmed this via ultrasound. Her head is low and what I have continued to feel on my upper left belly is her butt, so cute! Everything else is going smoothly as well. My next appt is next Thursday. I have been having recurring morning headaches but my blood pressure and protein levels were alright so they are not concerned at this point. They gave me warning signs to look out for just in case. Honestly I think I just havent been drinking enough water and am waking up dehydrated. Miguel is going to help me keep up my water intake!! But for now it is just a waiting game. I will continue to go to my weekly appts until baby decides it is time to arrive :)

Tonight is our last "Preparing for Childbirth" class at Rex Hospital. Miguel and I have really enjoyed our weekly classes and it has been a wonderful bonding experience for us. Tonight we will get a chance to practice newborn care on dolls and I am REALLY excited. It has been sooooo long ago that I changed a diaper that I really feel I have forgotten everything. Plus they will teach us about bathing and all the other necessities to take care of baby. All along I have been most excited about this class because I really want to learn it all and be SUPER prepared for baby. Maybe after tonight's class I will go home and practice everything on the dog! Sissy would love it!!!

I may be your waterboy, but we found out that I can swaddle faster, neater, and more effectively than anyone around! I am the swaddle King!

So happy to hear the baby has flipped! We're all very excited for you and know your baby will be adorable! Can't wait to hold her! All the basics will come naturally so don't worry about the diapers! Be thankful you don't need to use those diaper pins! Louie was traumatized when he stuck the pin through Mindy instead of the diaper! She doesn't remember, but he sure does!
Looking forward to your news!

Love,
Aunt Jane
